The shipping method could not be determined

The cause of this error label with the error text: "The shipping method could not be determined" is that a shipping method ID was passed to the interface that is not assigned to the corresponding carrier.

The following instructions may have direct effects on the program behavior of the Heidler shipping system, as no security checks are performed there.

Under Setup->dispatch master data->edit->dispatch types, the carrier can be selected from the top dropdown menu. After clicking "Execute," all dispatch types assigned to this carrier will be displayed. The dispatch type ID that needs to be passed to the interface will also be shown there.

 

If an assignment is missing and needs to be made, the carrier sorting must be removed by clicking "Reset." Now, the desired dispatch type must be selected. Once a dispatch type is chosen, the lower table will display which carriers are already assigned to this dispatch type.

• By clicking the "new" button (under dispatch types), a new dispatch type can be created, and a carrier must be entered. Once this assignment is saved, the dispatch type will be associated with the carrier and can be used with the corresponding dispatch type ID, as described above.
