CartonCube - Laser
Operating principle
The dimensions (length, width, height) are measured in fractions of a second by means of precise and maintenance-free industrial laser distance sensors which are mounted at the respective corner points.
At the same time, load cells below the system determine the weight of the object.
Measurement value output / data export
The entire measuring process is mapped in the software CubeUI 2.0
The measured values are output both visually on the monitor and in the form of one of the supported data transmissions, e.g. as transmission of a CSV file on a network drive.
Troubleshooting
- One or more dimensions are displayed incorrectly, e.g. 0 mm
- Check that the object to be measured is neither too large nor too small
- Check that the red laser points do not measure past the object, e.g. because the object is not positioned correctly or has gaps at the stop due to deformity
- Check that the object is neither transparent nor highly reflective
- The system will not boot
- Check the power supply (230V power pack / batteries) and charge level
- An incorrect weight is displayed
- Remove all objects and items from the weighing surface(s) and zero the scale(s). For more details on zeroing the scale(s), refer to the software documentation
- Make sure that everything around the weighing surfaces is clear and that nothing blocks the free movement of the load cells. Please note that the complete system including the optional stop on the Z-axis forms a closed system, must be free to move and must not be loaded
- The software or operating system no longer responds
- Shut down the Industrial PC by briefly pressing the button on the rear panel.
